Kyra Plotner is our new Dewsweeper Associate Instructor.

Kyra started playing golf 15 years ago, on her high school golf team. In high school, the team won a team Metro championship, 3 team District championships, and 2 team State runner-ups. Kyra came in third individually at the State championship.

After graduating high school, Kyra played at the University of Mobile for four years. During her college career, the team won runner-up at the conference tournament and she had two individual wins. Kyra was selected to be on the all-freshmen team, all-conference team, and won Conference Women’s Golfer
of the Week twice.

After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and Exercise Science, golf instructor with the Dewsweepers in Panama City Beach for two years. There, she taught juniors, adults, and junior camps with varying skill levels.

Kyra next went on to be the assistant pro at Burning Tree Country Club in Decatur, Alabama.

After a year of being at Burning Tree, Kyra worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Mobile where she helped coach the mens and womens golf teams while receiving a Master’s degree in Higher Education Policy and Leadership.

Kyra is now available for golf lessons with Dewsweepers Downtown in Mobile. She has an available and flexible schedule.

Rates start at $100 per hour or 5 lessons for $400. This includes video and computer analysis and notes to take home.
