I personally wanted to take a moment to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Hopefully this past weekend was filled with lots of fun, family time and some golf. I was excited to have some much needed down time as we ramp up for a big 2024! If you are looking to give your game a boost in the New Year I have enclosed the programs and dates for most of the first quarter for each of you. I hope we will find a time to see each of you on the tee or at a Retreat this season.
Special congratulations to Andy Ogletree who finished up 2023 by winning the International Series on the Asian Tour which secured his spot on the LIV Golf Tour in 2024. Andy also locked up the Asian Tour Order of Merit during the past month which earns him a spot in both the US & British Open Championships along with the PGA Championship this May. Well done. Every two years Matthew Rudy and the folks at Golf Digest conduct a survey which ranks and recognizes the best Teachers in each state along with the Top 50 Best Teachers in the United States. Huge Congratulations to Morgan Hale who moved up to #5 in the State of Alabama, Jackson Koert who was named Best in the State of Florida. I am incredibly proud of these two who have worked with and for me for years. Couldn’t be more excited for them and to see theme excel. I am also very thankful for the opportunity to once again be placed on the Golf Digest Top 50 list. It is a very very cool honor and very flattering to be voted as such by my peers. I also want to congratulate Mark Hackett for once again being named Best in State of Florida by Golf Digest along with Golf Magazine Top 10. He does an unreal job. I seriously cant think of a better more accomplished staff for teaching, coaching and developing players than the one Mark and Dan have assembled and are building at Old Palm. It is cool to be part of. Golf Digest 50 Best Teachers & Best in State List!
