Get Rid of That Nasty Duck Hook!

Do you get scared every time you step on the tee that a nasty duck hook is going to come out and nosedive right into the water? Well here is a tip to help you hit straighter tee shots and feel more confident when you step on the tee.

Pretend your hands are a ham sandwich. Your right hand is the bottom piece of bread and your left is the top piece of bread. Now you want to make a motion that going through the ball would keep you from dropping the ham on the ground. In other words your hands will go throught he impact area sideways with your right palm facing up. Next, grab your driver and make swings and hit balls feeling as if your hands are coming throught the ball sideways, keeping the ham in the sandwich. This will help you keep from using too much hand action and creating a duck hook!
